Online Technology Forum – Connected City – 5G and Wi-Fi

The Office of the Government Chief Information Officer, Automotive Platforms and Application Systems R&D Centre of HKPC, Cyberport, and the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation have organised the technology forum “Connected City – 5G and Wi-Fi”. More than 420 government and IT representatives participated in this forum. 12 technology companies introduced how to apply 5G and Wi-Fi technologies to improve operational efficiency and enhance the delivery of public services! OFCA introduced the “Subsidy Scheme for Encouraging Early Deployment of 5G”, and the OGCIO also shared how the government adopt a public-private collaboration approach to promote Hong Kong to be a Wi-Fi connected city.
